- You send your patient’s impressions and prescription to Cadent. At Cadent, the iQ system’s mathematical algorithm processes the patient’s prescription information, individual dental anatomy, and doctor-selected appliances to generate a 3D end-of-treatment outcome with the derived optimal bracket placement. - With its specialized software tools, Cadent iQ gives you the ability (if you have the need) to fine-tune teeth positions and simulate treatment strategies to achieve the desired outcome. You view all this on screen before treatment begins.
- Once you transmit your outcome approval to Cadent, the Cadent iQ delivery system is put in motion to create and send the finished product to your office for insertion into the patient’s mouth. Each bracket is in the ideal position to achieve the desired outcome.

Training
Clinical and software training are the first steps to enhanced results for you and your staff. Our iQ implementation coordinator will help ensure a successful training program and an easy transition to OrthoCAD iQ for you and your team.
- Clinical Training
Once your clinical training date is scheduled and confirmed, we will send you a shipping kit containing all the necessary documentation and shipping material to get you started. Our trainer will travel to your location to show you and your staff the clinical steps required to insert OrthoCAD iQ into the patient’s mouth. -
Software Training
If you are not presently an OrthoCAD Digital Study Model customer, we provide free software phone training with our OrthoCAD Software Support Team for you and any members of your staff. -
Case Approval Training
The free telephone training session with our in-house orthodontist will guide you through the case approval process and answer any questions you may have. The orthodontist will conduct a follow-up telephone session a few months later.
